Little Lion Early Learning is honoured to be entrusted with the next chapter of the beloved KU Chatswood Community Preschool. We recognise the important place this centre has held in the hearts of local families for many years, and our goal is to ensure continuity, stability, and quality care for every child and family during this transition. And we are committed to bringing additional support and opportunities to local families. Little Lion has been operating for 8 years now, and offering an affordable and home-like learning environment has always been our goal. 

Here are a few important things we’d like you to know about Little Lion Chatswood:

• More Flexibility for Families

Want to enrol five days a week? Excellent! No more two days a week, with Little Lion,  there are no maximum day limits – families can enrol their children up to five days a week, as long as places are available.

• Longer Hours for Working Parents

Little Lion will be operating  7:00am – 6:00pm every Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excluded), giving parents more flexibility around work and family commitments.

• Nutritious Meals Every Day

At Little Lion, we provide five meals daily with our partner, KGF Food, a government-approved food provider for children: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack – all included in our daily fee. This means children are nourished throughout their day with fresh, balanced meals.

• Daily Updates to Stay Connected

Through our Xplor platform, parents receive at least two detailed daily journals with photos of their child’s activities, along with updates on meals, sleep, and wellbeing. You’ll never miss a moment of your child’s learning journey.

• Daily Fee

We know that affordability is a real concern for many families and bring affordable learning and exceptional care has always been Little Lion’s goal.  That’s why our preschool daily fee is $99, and with CCS (Child Care Subsidy) and the Start Strong program, families may pay as little as $10 a day.

Our commitment is simple: to make this transition as smooth as possible, to try our absolute best to keep trusted staff that children know and love, to continue carrying out current programming, and to add more flexibility, care, and support for families.
