Chandani - Educational Leader & Centre Manager Assistant

My name is Chandani Shrestha, originally from Nepal, and I have been working in early childhood education for the past four years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and my philosophy is shaped by both my academic knowledge and lived experiences. I view children as capable and curious learners who flourish in environments that are inclusive, joyful, and responsive to their unique interests. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, I strive to create spaces that promote exploration, natural curiosity, creativity, and meaningful discovery. At the core of my practice is play-based learning, which fosters holistic development—encouraging children to solve problems, express themselves, and build a strong sense of identity and confidence. I also deeply value inclusive learning—ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their individual abilities or backgrounds. I believe this is only possible through collaborative efforts involving educators, teams, families, and allied professionals. Together, we can build an environment where each child feels respected, supported, and empowered to reach their full potentials. As an Educational Leader, I am passionate about empowering my team and working closely with families to continually improve the quality of education, ensuring every child’s learning journey is supported, valued, and celebrated I am dedicated to inspiring and supporting my team through meaningful guidance and reflective practice, creating an environment which upholds a strong, shared commitment to high-quality education, and child-focused learning.
