We take pride in providing spacious outdoor areas and sustainable gardens, where children can engage in gross motor development and physical activities while also learning about the importance of sustainability and caring for the environment.

Our team of NESA Qualified Early Childhood Educators and Teachers are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience, using innovative teaching methods and evidence-based practices to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

Catherine - Centre Manager

Hi everyone, my name is Catherine. I am a mother of 2 wonderful children and hold a diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education. I have been working in this field for over 6 years. I believe that every child is unique and thrives through play as they reach critical developmental milestones. As Centre Manager Assistant and room leader in Simba Room at Little Lion Macquarie Centre, I view education as an art. I play an essential role in this journey, serving as a guide, attentive listener, and responsive advocate for each child’s needs. I also believe that building a strong connection with parents is crucial. We consistently communicate and celebrate each child’s strengths and acknowledge their growth at every stage of development.

Scarlett - Educational Leader

As an Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader at Little Lion Early Learning Macquarie Park, I believe that every child is a unique, capable, and curious learner who is best supported through respectful, attentive, and individualised approaches that honour their uniqueness and potential. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that children are active participants in their own learning. Inspired by the Montessori approach and constructivist theory, I aim to provide hands-on, inquiry-based experiences that promote exploration and creativity. I value well-prepared and inclusive environments that support independence and meaningful engagement for all children. I also believe that strong, respectful relationships with families and colleagues are essential in creating a sense of belonging and continuity for children. I strive to lead with empathy and collaboration, fostering a shared vision of quality education that supports the holistic growth and wellbeing of every child.
